Family/Matrimonial - Initial 30-minute discussion by appointment free of charge. More...

We recognise that consulting a solicitor about your relationship breakdown can be a daunting prospect. Our family solicitors will work with you with empathy as well as professionalism, but it is important that you feel at ease with whomever you choose to advise you. To help you make this important decision we are pleased to offer an initial 30-minute discussion by appointment free of charge. This enables you to meet the solicitor face-to-face and to discuss the general legal principles concerning the breakdown of your relationship. The offer is without obligation – we won’t chase you for a decision, but will leave you to make up your own mind whether you would like us to take matters further on your behalf. Call our reception on 0208 939 4000 (Monday to Friday 09.00 – 17.30 hours) to make that appointment.

Internet only offer
In addition to an initial free discussion (as above) claim a 10% discount* on our fees for Family work by printing off this page or making an enquiry through our website (click here). If you print off the page, call us for an appointment on 020-8939 4000, mention this offer and bring the page with you. You must bring this voucher to your initial meeting as vouchers will not be accepted retrospectively.

*Please note that the 10% discount applies to our fees only. VAT will apply at the prevailing rate and all disbursements (e.g., court fees) must be paid in full. This is a special Internet only offer, applying to Family work. Carter Bells reserves the right to amend or withdraw the offer at any time.

Litigation/Dispute Resolution - Free 20 minute consultation. More...

We can provide advice and assistance when a dispute arises in a wide range of areas including Landlord & Tenant, Property, Mobile Homes, Consumer, Contractual, Co-ownership, Neighbour and Contentious Trust/Probate. We can attend Court or arrange representation. It is, of course, always preferable if you can contact us at an early stage. This will enable us to outline the funding options available and to ascertain whether the dispute might be resolved without recourse to Court. Whilst we are always prepared to commence proceedings where appropriate, there is now an obligation under the Civil Proceedings Rules to explore alternative ways of settling disputes and an on-going duty to negotiate. We will discuss these options with you.

We are conscious that taking legal action is invariably a stressful and daunting prospect. With this in mind, we provide a free 20 minute consultation. This enables you to meet a Solicitor face to face to discuss the general legal principles concerned, the options available and the potential costs involved. The offer is without obligation – we won’t chase you for a decision, but will leave you to make up your own mind as to whether you would like to instruct us to take further action on your behalf. Please call our Reception on 020- 8939-4000 (Monday to Friday 9am to 5:30pm) to make an appointment. (close...)
