THE LONDON 2012 OLYMPIC GAMES – EVENTS IN KINGSTON
Kingston is set to host the Olympic Road Cycling Men’s and Women’s Road Races and Time Trials, and the Olympic Torch Relays. The dates of these events are set out below:-
Whilst everyone at Carter Bells is excited at the prospect of Olympic events taking place in Kingston, the effect on the travel network will inevitably present significant problems for both our clients and our staff. This will be particularly acute on 1st August 2012 when the Olympic Road Cycling Time Trials are held as there will be extensive Road Closures in Kingston and the surrounding area. Whilst we have been making arrangements for some time to minimise the disruption to our clients, and will be open for business as usual on all week days throughout the duration of the Olympics, we are suggesting to clients that appointments are not made on 1st August 2012. Our Conveyancing department will also be closed on that date.
