Practice Areas: Frances advises on all areas of Private Client law including Wills; Estate and Succession planning; Administration of Estates; Administration of Trusts and advising Trustees; Powers of Attorney; Advance Medical Decisions; Court of Protection applications (Deputyship Orders, Statutory Wills)


Frances joined Carter Bells in 2005, initially in a paralegal role.  She completed her training as a Solicitor with the firm, qualifying in 2007.     Before qualifying as a Solicitor, Frances worked in the investment management and compliance profession.  She has acted as Company Secretary for Trust Corporations, previously having worked at Chemical Bank and Close Brothers.

Frances is a Dementia Friend Champion.  She orchestrated the firm’s membership of the Kingston Dementia Action Alliance (KDAA).  The KDAA is committed to creating a dementia friendly community in Kingston and the surrounding areas.

Frances enjoys reading, trips to the theatre and cinema; any time spent with friends and family, travel.
