Janine qualified as a solicitor in 1991 and joined Carter Bells as a Consultant in July 2022. She has worked in Surrey throughout her career more recently having run her own legal practice, Atkins & Co. in Esher. She specialises in all aspects of Private Client work, including Wills, Estate Administration, Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection.

Janine can advise on Inheritance Tax and estate planning and Trusts, as well as post death tax planning, including Deeds of Variation.

Janine also has experience dealing with Inheritance Act claims and contested probate work.
